Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt.
Smith swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Smith cracks Hutchinson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hutchinson checks a leg kick nicely.
Hutchinson feints and as Smith raises his hands in defense, Hutchinson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Smith avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hutchinson throwing strikes but missing.
Hutchinson trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom.
Hutchinson is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith has his foot on Hutchinson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hutchinson works his way back into a safe position though.
Hutchinson knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.

Hutchinson with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Smith working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hutchinson doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hutchinson manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Hutchinson seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Hutchinson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Smith is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Smith has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Hutchinson doesn't defend quickly enough and Smith has managed to lock this one up! Can Hutchinson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Smith on a fantastic submission victory.
