Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marmita Cheia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bryan Jennings (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cheia comes into the arena with Horas de Matar blaring out of the sound system. Bryan Jennings will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Steve Erwin and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jennings shoots in but no luck this time.
Cheia defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Jennings.
Cheia goes for a double leg but Jennings avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jennings continues to drive forward.
Jennings is trying to pull guard but Cheia has him pressed against the cage.
Marmita Cheia has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bryan Jennings.
Cheia lands a body punch.
Cheia pulls guard effortlessly.
Cheia manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jennings manages to get himself to full guard.

Jennings is refusing to be controlled, as Cheia sits in half guard.
Cheia seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Jennings is looking for a sweep. Cheia is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cheia is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Jennings!
Jennings avoids a series of strikes thrown by Cheia.

Cheia has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Cheia gets through Jennings's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Jennings is working for takedown but Cheia is calmly controlling the position for now.

Jennings is pressed up against the cage. Cheia has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Jennings down to the mat. Jennings avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Cheia pulls Jennings in close to his closed guard and prevents Jennings from doing any damage or advancing position.

Jennings must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Jennings got a little sloppy there for a moment and Cheia has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jennings has managed to get both his arms back between Cheia's legs - danger averted.
Jennings slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
