Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Am (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Godfather (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Godfather has chosen The Godfather Theme Song as his entrance music. The Godfather will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sam Am! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, The Godfather! The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Skip Squint and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Godfather sizes up Am with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Am changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Godfather tries to avoid it but Am manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Godfather to the ground. Godfather escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Am takes a swing at Godfather's ribcage but misses. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Godfather! But no joy. Am bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Am throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Am throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Godfather lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Am scores with a jab to the body. Am just misses with a punch to the body.
Sam Am seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Am misses with a hook to the body
and Godfather connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Am shoots for a double leg takedown but Godfather sprawls well. He's pushed Am's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Am has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Godfather after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Am. That's going to take a lot out of him. Godfather scores with a hook to the body. Godfather pushes Am back against the cage and unloads with a body punch. A hook to the body from Godfather.
Am fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Am stalling in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. A short right from Godfather on the inside. Am tries to throw a body punch but Godfather avoids it by throwing Am back against the cage. Am can't find room to land a body shot as Godfather controls the action.
Am wants to break free but Godfather has control.
Godfather taking a breather. Godfather tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Godfather lands an uppercut. A nice right hand lands inside from Godfather. Godfather is pressed up against the cage. Am has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Godfather down to the mat. Godfather avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Am fails with the takedown and Godfather counters with a lovely straight right hand! Am closes this distance looking for a takedown but Godfather circles away. Godfather scores with a crisp jab that stopped Am in his tracks. Am misses with a jab to the body
and Godfather counters with a big right hand! Oh Am is in trouble here! Godfather follows up with more strikes and that's it! The ref has stopped it!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). The Godfather! An out of breath The Godfather thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
