Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kerry Morton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James SLipperjack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kerry Morton! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, James SLipperjack! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! SLipperjack moves into the clinch. SLipperjack tries to break the clinch but Morton is controlling the position. Stalling in the clinch from SLipperjack.
SLipperjack breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A head kick by SLipperjack misses and Morton counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. SLipperjack fails to land with a series of punches.
SLipperjack paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. SLipperjack gets off balance looking for a body kick and Morton counters with an inside leg kick. Morton has managed to clinch.
Morton is trying to force a seperation but SLipperjack has the dominant position. Morton is trying to force a seperation but SLipperjack has the dominant position. SLipperjack on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A short right from SLipperjack. SLipperjack breaks from the clinch.
James SLipperjack seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Morton avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morton throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around SLipperjack's waist but SLipperjack gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Morton off to one side.
That's one minute gone in the round. Morton drives through and clinches with SLipperjack against the cage.
SLipperjack blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Morton breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
SLipperjack tries to work over Morton's front leg with a kick but Morton checks it. SLipperjack lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Morton goes down and covers up as SLipperjack starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James SLipperjack!
