Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chev Chelios (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chelios comes to the cage accompanied by In Waves. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

so Aoki counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Aoki takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Chelios displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Aoki.
Chelios jabs Aoki right on the nose. Aoki blinks but takes it well.

Chelios dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Aoki. That did some damage!

Chelios tries to close the distance and clinch but Aoki swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Chelios steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Aoki is out on his feet! Chelios sets himself and nearly takes Aoki's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!

A very excited looking Chev Chelios made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
