Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enting Butikol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oktawian August (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Butikol might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. August comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Hit 'em up kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Enting Butikol!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 21 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Oktawian August!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Ron Honeybunn and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Butikol fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
August has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Butikol is landing a low percentage of strikes.
August fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Butikol looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Butikol throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck August on the side of the head.
August throws a leg kick but Butikol sees it coming and moves out of range.
Butikol looks to land a combination but August avoids it well.
Butikol has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

August's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
August dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Butikol. That did some damage!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Butikol enables August to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Butikol manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Butikol has his foot on August's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. August works his way back into a safe position though.

August stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Butikol swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Butikol has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but August can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
