Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Koko Beware (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyson Vickers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Koko Beware! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tyson Vickers! The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Igor Prikhodko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Beware looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Beware drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Beware drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Vickers dives on top into guard. Vickers has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Beware is proving hard to escape from. Beware has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Vickers can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Beware is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's one minute gone in the round. Vickers prevents Beware from improving his position. Beware looking for submissions off his back. Beware is trying to get back to full guard. Beware trying to control but Vickers postures up.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Vickers content just to control the position here. Vickers stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Beware has a takedown stuffed. Beware shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Vickers as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koko Beware. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Beware shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Vickers but Vickers pushes him off and we're back to square one. Horrible takedown by Beware or perhaps it was just good defense by Vickers which made him look bad. Vickers throws a right and a left that both miss. Beware fails with the takedown. Koko Beware seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Beware looks for a takedown but Vickers sprawls well. A punch combination from Vickers misses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Vickers misses with a jab, cross combination.
Beware shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Beware was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Beware with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Vickers's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Beware jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Vickers manages to avoid the submission attempt. Beware is looking to take a break and control but Vickers is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vickers prevents Beware from moving into mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Koko Beware dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Beware fails with a takedown attempt. Beware fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Beware. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koko Beware. That's going to take a lot out of him. Beware closes the distance and clinches up with Vickers, looking for a takedown. Beware pushes Vickers against the cage but Vickers circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Beware misses with a takedown attempt - Vickers sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Beware shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Beware fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Beware changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Vickers looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
That's one minute gone in the round. Beware tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Beware looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Beware has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Vickers is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Beware yanks on the arm and Vickers is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Beware.
