Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Regenstein! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chuck Borris! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Borris stalks Regenstein and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Regenstein's face. Regenstein staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Chris Regenstein has been cut. Nice jab there from Borris. Borris throws a body shot but no joy. Borris closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Borris breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Borris connects with a good right hand that stumbles Regenstein. Regenstein circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Borris circles away from the clinch attempt and Borris counters with a series of strikes. Regenstein will be more careful next time no doubt. Regenstein wants to clinch but Borris slips to the side and Borris counters with a left to the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Regenstein wants to clinch and Borris counters with a three punch combo that has Regenstein backing up. Regenstein nods at Borris to acknowledge the strikes. Borris throws a right and a left that both miss. Regenstein is looking to clinch. Regenstein wants to clinch but Borris slips to the side and Borris counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. The fight moves into the clinch position. Borris breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Regenstein fails with an attempt to clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Borris will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Regenstein tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Borris counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Regenstein moves in looking to clinch but Borris pushes him off. Regenstein looks to clinch and Borris counters with a series of strikes. Regenstein will be more careful next time no doubt.
Regenstein is rocked! Borris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Oh Regenstein is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Borris misses with a few strikes there.
Look low, kick high! Borris uses the oldest trick in the book to send Regenstein tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Borris is absolutely delighted - when Regenstein wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
