The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quintana cracks the inside of Saurus's front leg.
Saurus lands with an uppercut that bounces Quintana off the cage and back into range.
Saurus throws a lazy right hand but Quintana sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Quintana scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Saurus scores with the left hand. Quintana knows he should have avoided that one.
Nice sprawl there from Quintana as Saurus shoots in.
Saurus fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Saurus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Quintana sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Quintana avoids a punch combination nicely.
Quintana pushes Saurus away with a front kick.
Quintana goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Quintana fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Quintana throws a wild body kick that Saurus sees coming a mile off.
Quintana lands with a good body shot.
Saurus dives in for a single leg takedown but Quintana sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Quintana quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.
Saurus gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Quintana counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Saurus thinking.
Julio Quintana has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Frank Saurus.
Saurus looks winded!
Quintana scores with a jab. Saurus acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Quintana misses with a body kick.
Saurus shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Quintana as he jumps to the side.

Saurus looks to score with a jab to the body but Quintana is just out of range.
Quintana connects with a crisp jab.
Quintana thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Saurus if he has to take too many more of those.
Saurus chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Quintana can pounce on him.
Saurus scores with a jab to the jaw.
Saurus avoids a kick to the body.
A decent looking cross lands there for Quintana.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Quintana. Saurus shrugs it off though.
Saurus is still on wobbly legs! Can Quintana finish him?
Quintana lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Quintana finds Saurus's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Saurus flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Quintana lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Saurus will be OK.
