Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aznar Thrul (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Martin Zinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zinn has chosen All Day as his entrance music. Martin Zinn will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Zinn misses the target.
Zinn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Thrul is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Zinn throws a series of punches but Thrul moves out of range.
Thrul throws a hook to the side of Zinn's head but Zinn sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Zinn misses with a leg kick.
Thrul dives in and grabs Zinn's left leg, looking for a takedown. Zinn pushes down on Thrul's head and hops out.
Thrul is looking to chop away at Zinn's legs.
Zinn unleashes a big counter combination but Thrul bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Thrul shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Still in half guard, Thrul seems content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Thrul's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Zinn wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Thrul is looking to stall here but Zinn recovers full guard.
Thrul pushes down on Zinn's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Thrul drops an elbow to the side of Zinn's head.

Zinn pushes Thrul away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Thrul gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Zinn is desperately trying to improve his position but Thrul has a good base and remains in mount.
Zinn is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Thrul fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
