PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kelvin Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kacper Kowalik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Parker comes to the cage accompanied by Flash - Queen . Kowalik has chosen Metallica- Turn the page as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kelvin Parker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Kacper Kowalik!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parker tries to close the distance and clinch but Kowalik swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Kowalik's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Kowalik duly obliges.
Kowalik fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Parker on the side of the head.
Parker connects with a jab.

Kelvin Parker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parker throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Parker wants to clinch up but Kowalik keeps it at a distance.
Kowalik shoots in for a double leg but Parker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Parker walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Kowalik checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Parker fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kowalik checks it well.

Kowalik takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Kowalik on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Kowalik might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Parker pushes Kowalik against the cage. Parker is working some dirty boxing. Parker pushes off with a quick right hook! Kowalik goes down! Kowalik tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Parker moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

A very excited looking Kelvin Parker made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
