Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Daniel Franklin and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cherubim looking to score a takedown here. White is defending well but Cherubim drives through and ends up in White's guard.
Cherubim advances to half guard.
White tries to kick Cherubim off but Cherubim keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Cherubim is taking a breather. White says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Cherubim is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Cherubim stops White from getting back to his feet.

White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cherubim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Cherubim seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down White for as long as he can get away with.
White is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
