Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pat Crabber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Flare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Pat Crabber! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Flare! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Excellent takedown into side control there by Crabber. Crabber grinds an elbow into Flare's temple. Crabber working the ground and pound but Flare is defending the strikes. Crabber scoring with punches from side control. Crabber stands up and beckons Flare to his feet. Crabber has managed to clinch.
Crabber lands an elbow that stopped Flare in his tracks for a moment. Flare wants to break free but Crabber has control.
Flare tries for a takedown but Crabber manages to get underhooks.
Crabber lands a knee to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Crabber lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Flare. Flare tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Crabber just stands there and leans against the cage. Crabber taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Flare tries for a takedown but Crabber manages to get underhooks.
Pat Crabber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Flare. Crabber is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Flare gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Crabber prevents the takedown attempt.
Crabber has picked Flare up - he's going for a ride! Crabber dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Crabber wants to stand up but Flare has a hold of him and won't allow it. Flare is looking to improve his position.
Flare looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Flare is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Crabber working over Flare with some ground and pound. Flare looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Crabber performing his best blanket impression for a moment. Crabber lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Crabber stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Flare tries for a takedown but Crabber circles away easily and Crabber counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flare looking to hit a scissor sweep but Crabber is one step ahead there. Crabber content to stall in guard here. Crabber is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Crabber pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flare is keeping the position for now. Crabber not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crabber lands a couple of decent looking shots. Flare wants to sweep here but Crabber controlling him for the moment. Flare being controlled here, momentarily. Flare is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Crabber dives into side control.
Crabber thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Crabber is working Flare over with some ground and pound from side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Flare is trying to improve his position. Crabber grinds an elbow into Flare's temple. Crabber controls the position. Crabber tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Crabber has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Flare tries to improve position but can't. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Crabber dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Crabber throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Crabber instigates a clinch. Flare has Crabber pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Crabber manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Crabber breaks the clinch.
Crabber looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Flare! Flare wants to control but Crabber is having none of it. Crabber tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Crabber connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flare is looking to get to half guard. Crabber landing strikes from the mount and Flare is in trouble! Crabber with a couple of short strikes. Crabber tries to control but Flare wriggling away. Flare has worked his way to half guard, taking advantage of Crabber's lack of action.
Crabber perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Crabber is working for a kimura but Flare is defending it quite comfortably.
Flare is trying to get back to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flare gets full guard. Flare tries to land a sweep but no joy. Flare keeping moving, preventing Crabber from controlling successfully. Crabber lands a couple of digs. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crabber accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Flare working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Crabber.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Flare with a poor takedown and Crabber counters with a shoot takedown. Flare fights it but they end up in guard. Flare can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Crabber controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Crabber tries to free his leg and advance position but Flare is retaining full guard. Crabber trying to control the position from guard on top but Flare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Crabber is working Flare over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Flare has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Flare tries to land a sweep but no joy. Crabber makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Flare looking to control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Flare fails to land the takedown. Pat Crabber has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Flare. Crabber darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Flare trying to control here.
Flare is staying active underneath Crabber, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Crabber seems to be working for a kimura but Flare defends the submission attempt. Flare makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Flare. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pat Crabber dominated that second round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Flare doesn't succeed with the takedown and Crabber counters with a shoot takedown. Flare fights it but they end up in guard. Crabber lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Flare is looking to stand up but Crabber isn't so interested in that idea. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flare looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Crabber puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Flare taking some punishment here, with Crabber in his half guard. Crabber trying to control the pace. Flare is trying to maintain the position but Crabber is very close to passing his half guard. Crabber is figuring out what he wants to do next. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crabber wants to take a breather but Flare is having none of it. Crabber with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Flare avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Crabber. Flare moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Flare working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Crabber doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Crabber manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Crabber landing with the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Crabber lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Crabber looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Crabber is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Flare can do to turn this around? Flare throwing short punches from the bottom. Flare escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crabber gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Flare can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Crabber controls the pace.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flare thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Flare working for a triangle but Crabber defends it easily.
Crabber thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Crabber postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Crabber wants to control from the top but Flare keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Crabber postures up in Flare's guard and throws a big left but Flare blocks it. Flare preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Flare tries for a takedown but Crabber circles away easily and Crabber counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Crabber. Flare preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Crabber trying to control the position from guard on top but Flare is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Flare working for a triangle but Crabber defends it easily.

And that's the end of the fight! Pat Crabber showed his dominance in that final round. Well Crabber has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
