Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Listerine Care (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yay Wee Won (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Listerine Care has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Listerine Care!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Yay Wee Won!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Ron Honeybunn and Eliza Hachem.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Won looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Care!
Won tries to score with some ground and pound. Care controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Care could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Care wants to get back to his feet but Won drags him back down.

Won working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Won trying to control the action but Care is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Won tries to stand but Care is controlling his head.
Care might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Care wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Won creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Care sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Care is pushing Won's head away, looking to escape. Won manages to hold on to the position though.
Won remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Won wants to control for a moment but Care uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Won passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Care!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Care is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.
Won misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Care bucks Won off and manages to get back to his feet!

Won looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Won is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Care has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Won is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Care escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Won tries a head kick but it misses.

Care closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Won tries to bench press Care off him but Care keeps the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Care is trying to ground and pound but Won uses the momentary lack of control by Care to regain half guard.
Won tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Care manages to move to mount!

Care misses with a head shot.
Won sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Won trying to control but Care postures up.
Care sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Care trying to control the action but Won is working from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Listerine Care will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Won fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Won darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Won is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Won is just content to waste time from the top position. Care takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Care has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Won off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Care darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Won tries to clinch up.
Care swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Won connects with a high kick.
Won throws a head kick that misses.
Care throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Won bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Won tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Won has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Care bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Care slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
A bone on bone clash there as Care blocks the leg kick.

Care gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Won trying to control the position from guard on top but Care is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Won sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Care's guard.

Care pushes Won off looking to stand but Won dives back in and keeps control.

Care lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Won circles away quickly and effectively.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Care is defended easily by Won.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Won tries to sprawl but Care drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Won holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
Listerine Care overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Care tries to pass the half guard into mount. Won knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Won moves into full guard.
Won is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Care looking to pass the guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Won scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Won wants to take a breather but Care is having none of it.

Care makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Listerine Care dominated that second round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Won throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Care misses with a two punch combination.
Care shoots in for a takedown but Won shows good takedown defense.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Care connects with a jab.

Won fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Care sprawls well initially but Won persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Care tries to kick Won off but Won keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Care is looking to stand up but Won isn't so interested in that idea.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Won drops back, looking for a kneebar! Care looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Care looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Care!

I would just about give that final round to Yay Wee Won.
Well Care has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
