Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stem Cell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Burt Guth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guth comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Alva Noto - Module 7 kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
25 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Stem Cell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
21 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Burt Guth! The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cell scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Guth takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Cell goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cell thows a leg kick but Guth checks it and Guth counters with a slapping leg kick. Cell scores with a slapping inside leg kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Cell.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Cell. Guth takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Cell pivots, looking for a leg kick but Guth is out of range and Cell settles back down. Guth throws a big counter head kick but Cell avoids it with no problem. Sloppy strikes from Cell. Those never looked like landing. Guth is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Cell throws a body shot but no joy. Cell throws a body shot but no joy.

Cell scores with a head kick.
Danga de danga de dang - Cell scores with a four punch combination! Cell pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Guth drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Cell defends it well. Cell is looking to slow Guth down with leg kicks. Cell throws a head kick but Guth moves out of range.
Guth is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Cell misses with a right hand and Guth counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Cell! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Cell is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Guth off and has taken his back! We've been hearing good reports from Cell's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Guth tries to escape the position.

Cell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Cell has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Guth.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cell controlling from the back. Cell missing with strikes from the back. Cell is trying to stick to Guth's back but Guth is turning into Cell. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cell's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Guth. Cell looking for a guillotine here but Guth defends easily.
Cell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Guth with a flurry of punches that miss. Guth controls from within his opponent's guard. Cell has his hands on Guth's head, controlling the position. Guth stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cell swivels though and keeps the full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Stem Cell dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
A nice leg kick lands there from Cell. Guth moves out of range of the body kick from Cell.
Guth is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Cell connects with a body shot. Cell tried to score with a low kick but Guth checks it. Guth feints a counter leg kick. Guth is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Cell ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Guth moves away. Guth flicks out a counter leg kick but Cell steps away. Cell misses with a low kick.
Guth feints a counter leg kick. Cell is looking to wear down Guth with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Guth blocks a head kick by Cell.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Cell. That kick from Cell tenderised Guth's leg. Guth is trying to keep his angry face on. Guth gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cell to score an easy takedown into full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cell preventing the sweep. Cell is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Guth can do to turn this around? Cell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cell trying to control the position from guard on top but Guth is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Guth working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cell. Guth is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Cell wants to pass the guard but Guth is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Guth uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cell. Cell fails with the takedown. Guth doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cell tries for a takedown but Guth circles away easily and Guth counters with a nice uppercut. Cell misses the jab. Guth changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Guth.
Cell moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromGuth. Cell closes the distance and lands a one-two. Guth showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cell.
Guth shapes to counter with a head kick. Guth tries to sprawl but Cell drives through with a takedown into half guard. Guth tries to roll over but Cell keeps him under control. Cell is trying to control the action in half guard but Guth is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Guth blocking the ground and pound attempt from Cell.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cell working over Guth with some ground and pound. Guth looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Guth is staying active underneath Cell, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Cell seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Cell looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Guth with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Guth is staying active underneath Cell, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Cell content to control rather than advance. Cell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Stem Cell dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Guth avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Guth throws a fast counter high kick but Cell manages to duck under it in time. Cell throws a push kick but Guth slaps the foot to one side. Cell backing away here, and Guth unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Cell tries a head kick but it misses.

Cell lands with a shot to the body. Guth has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Cell. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice body punch from Cell. Cell drives through with a takedown into guard. Cell preventing the sweep.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Cell is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Cell takes a swing at Guth's ribcage but misses. Cell misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Cell lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Stem Cell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cell throws a low kick but it's checked well by Guth. Guth feints the counter takedown. Cell throws a body kick, spinning off balance and Guth counters with a nice uppercut. Cell throws a leg kick which misses Guth's front leg but catches the back leg as Guth tries to avoid it. Guth takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Cell misses with a shot to the body and Guth counters with a stiff right hand. Cell misses with a wild combination.
Guth appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cell lands with an overhand left. Cell misses with a leg kick. Guth looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it. Cell moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Cell throws out a leg kick but Guth moves out of range and Cell only half commits. Guth throws a big counter head kick but Cell avoids it with no problem. Cell throws an off balance right hand
and Guth cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Cell misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Guth.

Stem Cell is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cell changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guth looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Guth is trying to control Cell's posture but Cell avoids it. Guth manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cell is trying is best to control the position here. Guth misses with a head shot. Cell uses the momentum to regain guard. Guth passes easily into side control. Nice work. Guth working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And that's the end of the fight! Stem Cell showed his dominance in that final round. Well Cell has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
