Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Henry Ngo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ray Finkle!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ngo misses with a takedown attempt
and Finkle counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Finkle has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Ngo is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That kick from Finkle tenderised Ngo's leg. Ngo is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ngo dives in and grabs Finkle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Finkle pushes down on Ngo's head and hops out.
Finkle lands a body shot in the clinch.
Ngo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Finkle walks away with a smile on his face. Ngo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Ngo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ngo shoots in looking for a takedown. Finkle tries to sprawl out of it but Ngo keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Finkle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Ngo shoots in looking for a takedown but Finkle manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ngo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finkle lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Ngo missing with a left hand there. Finkle was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Ngo moves out of range as Finkle strikes.
Finkle throws a right hand that Ngo ducks under and follows up with a left that Ngo also avoids with ease.
Ngo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Finkle sprawls well. Finkle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ngo gets slowly back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Finkle lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.


It looks like Henry Ngo has been cut.
Finkle lands a head kick. Ngo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Ngo fails with the takedown.
Ngo shoots in for a double leg but Finkle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Finkle stuffs the takedown attempt from Ngo. Ngo gets slowly back to his feet.
Finkle only half commits to the counter leg kick.
Finkle slaps away a takedown attempt from Ngo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Ngo needs to keep his hands up - Finkle had a free shot at his head there.
A decent looking cross lands there for Ngo.
Ngo shoots in for a double leg but Finkle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Finkle lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Finkle lands with an overhand left.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ngo with a lazy takedown attempt
and Finkle counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Finkle leaves Ngo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Finkle appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Finkle is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Ngo throws a body punch but Finkle moves out of range.
Ngo tries to clinch up but Finkle circles away and keeps his distance.
Finkle has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
Finkle moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Ngo dives in and grabs Finkle's left leg, looking for a takedown. Finkle pushes down on Ngo's head and hops out.
Finkle smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

and Finkle counters with a nice uppercut.
Finkle connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.


Ngo is rocked!
Ngo gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Finkle gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ray Finkle!
Our winner, Ray Finkle, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
