Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Adegoke Olujimi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Psycho Russell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Olujimi's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Jovivaa - Vigilant. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adegoke Olujimi! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Psycho Russell! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Russell swings for the body but Olujimi moves out of range.
Olujimi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Russell sprawls and moves away. Russell throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Olujimi decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Russell's guard. Russell has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cylon Training Academy. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Olujimi looking to sit in guard and control but Russell gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Olujimi pulls Russell in to control the position. Olujimi is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Olujimi has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Russell being controlled here momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Olujimi is on top in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olujimi is working Russell over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Olujimi is looking to work some ground and pound but Russell has wrist control. Olujimi throwing strikes but missing. Olujimi postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Russell has momentary wrist control but Olujimi slips an elbow through the middle. Russell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Olujimi throws a big elbow that misses. Olujimi in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olujimi trying to control the position from guard on top but Russell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Olujimi throws a big elbow that misses. Olujimi wants to control from the top but Russell keeps moving. Olujimi is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Olujimi trying to control but Russell is working from the bottom. Olujimi throwing strikes but missing. Olujimi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Russell works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big right from Russell misses. Olujimi looks to land a right hand but Russell moved out of range. Russell throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Russell gets in close and instigates a clinch. Russell breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Olujimi fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Russell avoids it really well and circles away. Russell digs a good hook to Olujimi's body.
Russell throws out a loose jab but Olujimi uses good head movement to avoid it. Russell throws a body punch but Olujimi moves out of range. Russell throws a good cross that connects.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Olujimi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Olujimi with a body punch. A glancing blow. Psycho Russell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Olujimi throws a left and a right that both miss
and Russell counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Olujimi thows a left - swing and a miss! Olujimi has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Russell finds it's way round the side to connect with Olujimi's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Olujimi with a body punch. A glancing blow. Olujimi takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Russell walks into a jab. The fighters circling - Russell throws out the jab but it was never going to land. A big right from Russell misses. Jab, jab by Russell - just one landing. Olujimi looks to land a left hand but Russell moved out of range nicely. Russell doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. A swing and a miss from Olujimi. Olujimi lands with a cross. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Adegoke Olujimi will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!

Russell thows a left - swing and a miss! Russell misses with a straight right. Russell misses with a two punch combination.
Russell tries to close the distance and clinch but Olujimi swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Russell lands a body shot.
Russell's corner calls for a 1-2. Russell obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Olujimi throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Russell tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Olujimi is in Russell's guard. Olujimi missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Olujimi is looking to work some ground and pound but Russell has wrist control. Olujimi throws a strike but Russell rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
This has been an exciting period of action! Olujimi looking for a sweep. Not yet Olujimi, not yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Russell looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Russell passes easily into side control. Nice work. I wouldn't like to be where Olujimi is right now. Olujimi tries to get back to half guard but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Russell is looking to take a break and control but Olujimi is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. You can see the frustration on Olujimi's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Russell cracks Olujimi with a big right hand but Olujimi just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Olujimi is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Russell tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Russell trying to control the action but Olujimi is working from the bottom. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Decent striking displayed by Olujimi there. Russell avoids a punch combination nicely.
A telegraphed right hand from Olujimi misses the target. Russell looks like he wants to counter punch here. A combination from Olujimi does no damage. It seemed like Russell was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Russell scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Russell takes a shot right to the bread basket. Russell gets in close and instigates a clinch. Olujimi throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Russells head. Russell lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Olujimi lands a shot to the body. Olujimi has a couple of punches blocked by Russell.
Olujimi blocks a body shot from Russell. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Russell tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Olujimi's elbow. Olujimi fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Olujimi misses with a hook from the clinch. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Russell lands with a left to the head. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Olujimi. Russell softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Olujimi blocks an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Psycho Russell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Olujimi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Russell throws out the jab. A jab from Russell misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Olujimi lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Olujimi throws a jab when Russell was well out of range. Russell tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Olujimi manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Olujimi drops down looking for a counter takedown but Russell sprawls and moves away. Russell feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Olujimis jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
That's one minute gone in the round. Olujimi displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Russell throws out the jab. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Olujimi. Russell stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Russell wants it to stay on the feet. Russell scores with a hook to the body. Olujimi takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Russell drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Olujimi right on the button. Olujimi goes down! Russell follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Russell gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Psycho Russell! Psycho Russell is the new middleweight champion! In his post fight interview, Psycho Russell started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
