Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Bilashki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juha Koistinen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bilashki comes to the cage accompanied by The Warriors of Skyrim. Juha Koistinen has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Jon Bilashki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Juha Koistinen! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Koistinen slips a jab from Bilashki. Koistinen throws a body kick that misses. Sloppy strikes from Bilashki. Those never looked like landing. Bilashki takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Koistinen has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bilashki is landing a low percentage of strikes. Bilashki slaps away a takedown attempt from Koistinen, before circling back to the center of the mat. Koistinen has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Koistinen there as he acknowledges the shot. Bilashki tries a head kick but it misses.
Bilashki tries to close the distance and clinch but Koistinen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Bilashki throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Bilashki keeps the fight on the outside. Bilashki wants to clinch but Koistinen slips to the side and Koistinen counters with a two punch combo. Bilashki circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bilashki's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Bilashki duly obliges. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Koistinen closes the distance and clinches. Bilashki jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Koistinen walks away with a smile on his face. Bilashki gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. A kick lands to the mid section there for Bilashki.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sloppy strikes from Koistinen. Those never looked like landing. Bilashki lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Koistinen moves into range and clinches up with Bilashki. Bilashki lands on the inside with an uppercut. Koistinen working some nice short punches in the clinch. Bilashki struggles to land a body shot inside as Koistinen controls his hands.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Bilashki. Koistinen scores with a shoulder strike. Koistinen prevents a body shot from Bilashki. Bilashki misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Koistinen.
Bilashki wants to break the clinch but can't.
Koistinen throws a head punch that misses. Koistinen misses with some punches.
Koistinen lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Bilashki blocks an uppercut.
Our sources have told us that Bilashki has been working on his elbows in the gym. Koistinen has hold of one of Bilashki's legs. Bilashki is fighting the takedown attempt but Koistinen gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. This has been an exciting period of action! Koistinen passes into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Koistinen trying to pass the guard but Bilashki defending well. Bilashki is looking to escape. Bilashki trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Koistinen wants to take a breather but Bilashki is having none of it. Koistinen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Bilashki tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Koistinen uses his free foot to push down on Bilashki's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Bilashki. Koistinen pushing the pace here, looking to move to his opponents back and work for a finish.

Koistinen wants to finish this one by submission but Bilashki is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Koistinen. Koistinen with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Koistinen cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Bilashki is rocked! Koistinen postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Bilashki out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Koistinen goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Juha Koistinen! A pretty intense looking Juha Koistinen took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
