Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seifer Almasy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kylla Ei (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Almasy comes to the cage accompanied by The Black Mages - Force Your Way. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Seifer Almasy! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kylla Ei! The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Almasy gets a clinch. Ei softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. A short right hand to the side of the head by Ei. Almasy tries for a takedown. No joy.

I was talking to Almasy's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Ei using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Almasy has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Ei manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That kick from Ei tenderised Almasy's leg. Almasy is trying to keep his angry face on. Almasy is rocked! Ei seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Oh Almasy is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Ei passes easily into side control. Nice work. Almasy is looking to reverse the position. Almasy seems to have got his legs back now.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Almasy manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Ei tries to pass the half guard into mount. Almasy knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Ei looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ei moves nicely into side control. Ei content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Almasy manages to work his way to half guard, despite Ei's best efforts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well, if Ei is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

A jab from Ei does it's job there. Ei has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Almasy is landing a low percentage of strikes. Almasy drives through and clinches with Ei against the cage.
