19 - 37 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hanz Stokenhizer! The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sea Flea shoots in and gets a takedown into Stokenhizer's guard. Stokenhizer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Stokenhizer is trying to control the position but Sea Flea postures up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sea Flea stopping the sweep attempt from Stokenhizer. Sea Flea trying to control but Stokenhizer is working from the bottom. Sea Flea looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Stokenhizer trying to keep a closed guard but Sea Flea is proving a slippery customer.
Stokenhizer is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stokenhizer wants to sweep here but Sea Flea controlling him for the moment. Stokenhizer working a defensive guard here.

That's one minute gone in the round. Stokenhizer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sea Flea is one step ahead there. Stokenhizer pulls Sea Flea in to control the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Sea Flea decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
We've been hearing that Sea Flea has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. Stokenhizer wants to get back to full guard. Stokenhizer holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Sea Flea trying to control the action but Stokenhizer is working from the bottom. Sea Flea prevents Stokenhizer from improving his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sea Flea working Stokenhizer over with strikes. Stokenhizer tries to roll over but Sea Flea keeps him under control. Sea Flea is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Sea Flea is thwarting Stokenhizer's attempts to control the position. Stokenhizer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sea Flea. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Stokenhizer is defending against the submission attempts here by Sea Flea.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Stokenhizer wants to get back to full guard. Sea Flea throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sea Flea lands strikes from half guard. Stokenhizer is trying to control but can't.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sea Flea is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Sea Flea lands a nice short elbow. Sea Flea is trying for a kimura here. Stokenhizer looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Sea Flea wins by kimura!
