Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Julio Cortez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mr Hands (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Mr Hands was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Cortez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hands on his heels. He'll look to pass Hands's guard now, I'm sure.
Cortez thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Cortez stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hands swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Hands wants to sweep here but Cortez controlling him for the moment.
Cortez drops back looking for a leg! Hands is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Hands manages to kick Cortez off! Cortez jumps back into Hands's guard.

Cortez sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Hands's guard.

Cortez seems to be working for a kimura but Hands defends the submission attempt.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cortez maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hands could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Cortez has cracked it and Hands is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Cortez !
