Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Wet Hell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Cross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 34 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Wet Hell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chris Cross!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Chris Saunders and Ryoma Takatsuka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hell gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cross to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Cross trying to control the position from guard on top but Hell is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Hell controlling Cross's posture.
Hell manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Cross manages to get himself to full guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hell postures up.

Cross looking for a guillotine here but Hell defends easily.
Hell preventing the sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Cross isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Hell stacks Cross on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Hell!
Cross is looking to reverse the position.
Cross manages to work his way to half guard, despite Hell's best efforts.
Hell not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Cross looking for submissions off his back.
Hell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Hell prevents Cross from standing back up.

Cross keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Cross drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Cross missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Hell trying to control the position.
Hell wants to stand and escape but Cross is having none of it.
Hell looking to control.

Cross pushing down on Hell's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Cross working over Hell with some ground and pound. Hell looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Cross thows a huge punch but Hell dodges it nicely.
Cross wants to take a breather but Hell is having none of it.
Hell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cross on the ground.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cross misses with a low kick as Hell jumps back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Cross dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hell avoids the head kick by Cross.
Cross walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hell checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Cross is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Cross looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Cross is looking to advance position but Hell won't allow it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chris Cross has got the better of the ground game so far.
Cross is trying to control. Hell wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Cross is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Cross is looking to stall here but Hell recovers full guard.
Cross throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Cross tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Cross manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Hell on his heels. He'll look to pass Hell's guard now, I'm sure.
Cross tries to free his leg and advance position but Hell is retaining full guard.
Cross has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Cross looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

You can see the frustration on Hell's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Cross tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.

Cross tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cross has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cross creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Hell sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Cross is looking to take a break and control but Hell is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Cross fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Hell to the ground. Cross is now in Hell's guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cross's corner is telling him to maintain position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chris Cross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!


Cross goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Cross closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hell quickly recovers to half guard.

Cross is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Hell reverses the position - he's now on top in Cross's guard.

Hell controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.

Cross has an active guard here but Hell has managed to pass into half guard.
Cross is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Hell's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Hell's back!

Cross has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hell has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
What can Hell do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Hell is trying to get back to his feet but Cross has full control of the position and if anything, Hell has just worked his way into a worse spot.

Cross has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Hell is defending well but eventually Cross manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Hell has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
