Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Alessio Paciani (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yes Yes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Alessio Paciani!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Yes Yes!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yes looks to land a combination but Paciani avoids it well.
Yes drops his hands momentarily and Paciani takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Paciani looks for a takedown but Yes sprawls well.
Paciani fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Paciani shoots in for a double leg but Yes sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Yes lands one or two decent shots to the body here. Although from his own half guard, he's not going to be causing too much damage.

Yes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Yes lands with a kick to the temple. Paciani shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Paciani closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yes to the mat! Yes manages to get full guard.

Paciani trying to control but Yes is working from the bottom.

Yes lands a decent shot there.

Yes manages to escape and get back to his feet.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Yes has managed to clinch.
Paciani jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yes walks away with a smile on his face. Paciani gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Yes closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Yes looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Paciani keeping hold of Yes's head, controlling as best he can.
Yes uses his free foot to push down on Paciani's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Paciani.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Paciani wants to control but Yes is having none of it.
Paciani is looking to get to half guard.
