Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jeremy Lin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Van Driesen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lin's entrance music is Remember The Name. A fine choice. Jeremy Lin has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jeremy Lin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, David Van Driesen! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Daniel Bishop and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice takedown defense from Lin. No joy for Van Driesen on that attempt. Lin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Van Driesen's head. Van Driesen throws a low kick but it's checked well by Lin. Van Driesen has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lin finds it's way round the side to connect with Van Driesen's head. Lin throws a right and a left that Van Driesen avoids nicely. Van Driesen looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Jab from Lin. Van Driesen on the wrong end of a nice jab. Van Driesen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Van Driesen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Van Driesen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Lin has escaped the position, nice work there. Van Driesen working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Van Driesen landing strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Van Driesen tries for a kimura but Lin is defending well. Lin is trying to get back to his feet. Van Driesen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Van Driesen controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Van Driesen misses with the ground and pound. Lin is not content to let Van Driesen control the position. Van Driesen has knee on belly and moves into mount. Van Driesen landing strikes from the mount. Lin takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The referee warns Lin that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Van Driesen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Van Driesen lands a big elbow. Van Driesen wants to control the pace but Lin is squirming around nicely. Van Driesen jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lin manages to avoid the submission attempt. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lin is breathing heavily. Van Driesen is chipping away with strikes.
Van Driesen advances nicely into full mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Van Driesen in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Van Driesen is landing with some decent strikes but Lin is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Van Driesen tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Van Driesen landing punches. Van Driesen is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Lin can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Lin is rocked! Van Driesen is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Lin is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Lin flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Van Driesen anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Lin and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Van Driesen slips an arm under Lin chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Van Driesen has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Van Driesen is squeezing on Lin like an anaconda would it's prey. Lin fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). David Van Driesen!
