Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kendrick George (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dion The Cool Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dion The Cool Kid will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Cool Kid throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

and George counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by George.

George's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
A head kick from The Cool Kid lands but George takes it in his stride.

George is rocked!

It looks like Kendrick George has been cut.

The Cool Kid keeps the fight in the clinch, despite George's efforts to push away.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for The Cool Kid.

George with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

George has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but The Cool Kid regains guard immediately.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The Cool Kid is working an open guard so George takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

Excellent takedown into side control there by George.
George will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

George really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
The Cool Kid is letting George control him for a moment.
You can see the frustration on The Cool Kid's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
George content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Dion The Cool Kid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The Cool Kid throws a body punch but George moves out of range.

George moves into the clinch.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.

The Cool Kid using the Thai plumb to throw knees but George has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

George is working for takedown but The Cool Kid is calmly controlling the position for now.
George is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

George seems to have got his legs back now.
George has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. The Cool Kid avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

The Cool Kid throws a powerful right kick. George tried to block low but the kick was high! George was taken right off of his feet! The Cool Kid jumps in to finish the job and the ref tackles him! The fight is over!
