Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Queiroz thows a leg kick but Rios checks it
and Rios counters with a shoot takedown. Queiroz fights it but they end up in guard.
Rios postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Rios postures up in Queiroz's guard and throws a big left but Queiroz blocks it.
Rios missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rios throws an elbow that misses. Queiroz uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Rios's guard. Nice move by Queiroz!
Queiroz postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Queiroz working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Rios's head.
Queiroz cracks Rios with a solid left hand.
Queiroz distracts Rios with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Queiroz pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Rios is keeping the position for now.
Queiroz content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Rios looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Queiroz lands a couple of digs.
Queiroz is looking to work some ground and pound but Rios has wrist control.
Rios throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Queiroz preventing the sweep.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Queiroz gets to his feet and stands over Rios, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Rios felt that one! Queiroz unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Rios from any more punishment!
