Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Owen Glyde! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 11 - 0, fighting out of London, Paul Harris! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Glyde is trying hard to land a takedown here. Harris sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Glyde walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like Owen Glyde has been cut. Glyde throws a head kick that misses. Harris shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Glyde as he avoids it easily. Harris tries a head kick but it misses.
Glyde throws a big counter combination but Harris scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Harris throws a head kick but Glyde moves out of range.
A big left from Harris misses. Harris misses with a looping left. Harris cracks a nice hook into Glyde's ribs. Paul Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nice sprawl there from Glyde as Harris shoots in. Glyde feints and as Harris raises his hands in defense, Glyde changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Glyde has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Glyde engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Glyde looking to pass the guard.

Glyde wants to free his trapped foot but Harris is holding on for dear life with his legs. Harris wants to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Glyde lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Glyde tries to stand but can't do so whilst Harris controls his leg. Harris actively working from the bottom here.

Glyde wants to take a breather but Harris is having none of it. Harris tries to roll over but Glyde keeps him under control. Harris slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Glyde tries to free his leg and advance position but Harris is retaining full guard. Glyde got a little sloppy there for a moment and Harris has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Glyde has managed to get both his arms back between Harris's legs - danger averted. Harris working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Glyde doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Glyde manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Harris is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Glyde defends well. Harris utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Glyde trying to control but Harris is working from the bottom. Glyde is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Glyde passes easily into side control. Nice work. Harris manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Harris is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Glyde defends it well. Harris looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Harris sizes up Glyde with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Harris lunges at Glyde with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Glyde's hand. Glyde fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Harris throws a sloppy head kick and Glyde moves out of range easily. Glyde throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Glyde tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Paul Harris seems to be getting the better of the standup. Harris throws a head kick that half lands.
Glyde is rocked!
Owen Glyde's cut is getting worse. Harris throws a head kick but Glyde moves out of range.
Harris wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. This has been an exciting period of action! Glyde keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Harris. Glyde throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Harris throws a head kick that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris drops Glyde with a big left hand! Glyde is injured, injured bad! Harris jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
