Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 0 - 1, fighting out of New York, The Chimaera!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bunga darts in looking for a takedown but Chimaera gets double underhooks and turns Bunga into the cage.
Chimaera flicks out a counter leg kick but Bunga steps away.
Bunga shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chimaera but Chimaera pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chimaera is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Bunga shoots and misses
and Chimaera counters with a flying knee. Nice.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sly Bunga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chimaera scores with a head kick.
Chimaera is looking to slow Bunga down with leg kicks.
Bunga misses with a takedown attempt - Chimaera sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Chimaera throws a big counter head kick but Bunga avoids it with no problem.
Bunga tries to score a body lock takedown but Chimaera shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Bunga's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Bunga takes a knee right on the jaw!
Chimaera tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Bunga changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Chimaera fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Bunga has his takedown stuffed
and Chimaera counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Bunga is lucky that one didn't land flush.
This has been an exciting period of action!

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Chimaera lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Chimaera lands with a kick to the temple. Bunga shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Bunga shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Chimaera is trying to stand back up but Bunga is controlling him
Chimaera is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Bunga definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bunga wants to work for an arm triangle but Chimaera is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chimaera pushes Bunga off looking to stand but Bunga dives back in and keeps control.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Bunga fails with the takedown
and Chimaera makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
Chimaera delivers a nice body kick.
Bunga takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Chimaera has tried to improve his agility in the runup to this fight.
Chimaera fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Bunga has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Chimaera buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.

A nice inside leg kick there by Chimaera. That's going to slow Bunga down.
Bunga chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Chimaera can pounce on him.
The Chimaera is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sly Bunga seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Chimaera makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Chimaera lands with a kick to the temple. Bunga shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Chimaera throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Bunga tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Chimaera lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Chimaera fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Bunga.
Chimaera lands a head kick. Bunga smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Chimaera connects with a high kick.
Bunga is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bunga tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Chimaera swivels and escapes.
That kick from Chimaera tenderised Bunga's leg. Bunga is trying to keep his angry face on.
The fighters circle, before Chimaera throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Bunga's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Chimaera lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). The Chimaera!
