Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buford Fowler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vitor Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Buford Fowler!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vitor Souza!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Daniel Franklin and Tiny Johnson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Souza throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fowler's waist but Fowler gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Souza off to one side.

Souza looking to sit in guard and control but Fowler gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fowler really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Souza has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fowler can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Souza bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Fowler's guard.

Souza throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Fowler works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Souza postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fowler is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Souza, into his guard.

Fowler prevents Souza from getting back to his feet.
Souza looks winded!

Souza is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Souza manages to break the clinch.
Souza leaves Fowler with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Souza drops Fowler with a beautiful combination! Fowler stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Souza is looking for the KO!

Fowler is rocked!

It looks like Buford Fowler has been cut.

Fowler shoots and misses
and Souza scores with a counter punch that sends Fowler to the canvas! Souza smells blood - he's punishing Fowler with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Fowler has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
