And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jurgen Wexler!
The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Wexler with that takedown attempt.
Wexler shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Park but Park pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Park defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Wexler.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Park is on top in guard.

The crowd cheers as Park lands an impressive looking overhand right. Wexler doesn't seem phased though.
Wexler will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Park stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Park wants it to stay on the feet.
Park tries to close the distance and clinch but Wexler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Wexler goes for a double leg but Park avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Park continues to drive forward.

Wexler tries to bum rush Park with a series of wild strikes but Park uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Park fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Wexler looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Park counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Park blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Park's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Wexler doesn't manage to clinch there - Park circles away.
Park throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Wexler.
Park clobbers Wexler with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
A bone on bone clash there as Park blocks the leg kick.
Park lands a jab to the head.
Wexler looks for a takedown but Park sprawls well.
Wexler takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

It looks like Jurgen Wexler has been cut.

Wexler changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Park looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Park wants to get back to his feet.
Park regains half guard.
Park tries to kick Wexler off but Wexler keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Park trying to hold on to Wexler's head to control him but Wexler postures up.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Park, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
