Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dan Black! The judges for this bout are Francis DeMontford, Eliza Hachem and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Black decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Charles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Charles holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now. Charles tries to get to full guard but Black has control of the leg. Black is looking to stall here but Charles recovers full guard. Black loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Black postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Black scoring with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Charles utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Black throwing strikes from guard but Charles blocks nicely. Charles lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Charles is fighting to break Black's control of his arms but Black is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Black is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Black is looking to sweep but instead, Charles has passed into half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Black desperately trying to maintain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Charles winds up and cracks Black with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Black is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Black has his hands clasped together around Charles's back. He's all about the action.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Black closes the distance looking for a takedown. Charles stuffs it but Black still has hold of him. Black picks Charles up in a fireman's lift! The crowd roars in approval. Black slams Charles to the floor and that's really hurt Charles - he doesn't know where he is! Black throws a couple of strikes and the referee steps in to save him! This one is in the books!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Black!
