Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sebastiaan Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mikey Duffy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duffy is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Down with the Sickness. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mikey Duffy! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duffy throws a shot from downtown. Rutten moves away and avoids it. Rutten was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Duffy shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Rutten manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Duffy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Duffy scoring with some ground and pound. Rutten wants to stand but Duffy is controlling the position. Duffy postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Duffy stops Rutten from standing up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rutten wants to hit a switch here but Duffy passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Rutten there! Duffy breaks from Rutten's wrist control and lands an elbow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rutten in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Duffy pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Rutten is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at LOD: Top Team that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Duffy scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Rutten is squirming around, avoiding Duffy's attempts to control the action. Duffy controlling from the full mount. Duffy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Rutten is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Duffy lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Rutten is rocked! Duffy controlling his opponent. Oh Rutten is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! A big strike lands for Duffy! That's really hurt Rutten and he's turned his back - Duffy keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Duffy jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mikey Duffy! Mikey Duffy decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
