Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, TJ Fisher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Skurt Bravo! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bravo is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Fisher shoots in for a double leg but Bravo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Fisher shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bravo's guard. Fisher won't allow Bravo to get back to his feet. Bravo lands a couple of decent looking body shots there.
Bravo trying to control the position here. Fisher pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bravo is keeping the position for now. Fisher drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Fisher jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Bravo trying to keep a closed guard but Fisher is proving a slippery customer.
Fisher stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bravo swivels though and keeps the full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Fisher scores with a takedown into Bravo's guard. Fisher tries to free his leg and advance position but Bravo is retaining full guard. Fisher throws a big right hand that misses. Bravo seems keen to control Fisher's posture. Bravo not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Bravo shoots in and drives through. Fisher sprawls well. Fisher shoots in and bounces Bravo off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bravo can't keep his opponent in guard - Fisher advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Fisher is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bravo is just riding it out for now. Fisher eventually gives up the hold. Fisher seems to be looking for submissions.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fisher tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bravo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Fisher scoring with strikes to the body and head. Bravo keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Fisher wants to pass the guard but Bravo is defending well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Fisher seems to be working for a kimura but Bravo defends the submission attempt. Bravo tries to get to full guard but Fisher has control of the leg. Bravo looks gassed! Bravo won't allow Fisher to pass to mount. Fisher seems to be working for a kimura but Bravo defends the submission attempt. Fisher looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fisher fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Bravo sprawls well initially but Fisher persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Bravo is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Fisher pulls his head out easily. Fisher is pressing down on Bravo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Bravo is holding on for now. Fisher thows a huge punch but Bravo dodges it nicely.
Fisher tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bravo knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Fisher is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bravo defends it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Fisher tries to pass to full mount but Bravo defends it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Fisher looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Fisher is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Bravo won't be happy about that! Fisher working for a guillotine from mount but Bravo is in no mood to give up. Fisher landing punches. Bravo wants to hold on but Fisher pushes him away. Fisher wants to finish this one by submission but Bravo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Fisher.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Fisher with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Fisher with good strikes from the mount here! Fisher lands a heavy elbow. Fisher lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Bravo is squirming around, avoiding Fisher's attempts to control the action. Fisher working for a submission but Bravo is keeping him at bay. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fisher works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Fisher gets the takedown into side control. Fisher advances to mount. Fisher has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Bravo's face.

Fisher working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Bravo is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Fisher has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Bravo taps out!
