Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Obed Flying Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Asher Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Hilo, Obed Flying Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
42 - 32 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Asher Lee! The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee misses with a hook. Lee falls off balance throwing a combination
and Flying Fox counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Flying Fox tries to score a power double leg takedown but Lee sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Flying Fox somewhat. Lee has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee works over Flying Fox's head and body with a nice combination. Flying Fox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes. Lee misses with a straight right. Flying Fox lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lee circles away quickly and effectively. Flying Fox darts in looking for a takedown but Lee gets double underhooks and turns Flying Fox into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Obed Flying Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee trying to control the position but instead, Flying Fox has worked for underhooks and has pushed Lee into the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Flying Fox pulls Lee into guard.
Flying Fox pulls Lee in close to his closed guard and prevents Lee from doing any damage or advancing position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lee wants to get up but he can't break Flying Fox's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flying Fox wants to sweep here but Lee controlling him for the moment. Lee would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Flying Fox is trying to keep Lee in close.
Lee throws a big right hand that misses. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Flying Fox trying to keep a closed guard but Lee is proving a slippery customer.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Excellent takedown into side control there by Flying Fox. Flying Fox swings around for an armbar but Lee sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Flying Fox's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Flying Fox is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Flying Fox can't keep his opponent in guard - Lee advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Flying Fox works his way to full guard. Good work. Flying Fox keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Lee wants to stand but Flying Fox has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Flying Fox looking for subs off his back but Lee has passed one foot through into half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lee seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
Flying Fox might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Flying Fox is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Lee is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Flying Fox has a closed guard, preventing Lee from standing up. Flying Fox looking to control.

Lee pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Flying Fox is keeping the position for now. Lee wants to stand but Flying Fox has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Lee must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Flying Fox is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Flying Fox looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

A close round but Asher Lee will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Flying Fox drops his hands momentarily and Lee takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lee connects with a body shot. Flying Fox is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Flying Fox takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Flying Fox fails with the takedown. Lee scores with a jab. Flying Fox acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Lee connects with a body shot that sends Flying Fox's belly button to the back. Flying Fox on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Flying Fox tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lee swivels and escapes. Good exchange - Lee coming out on top. Flying Fox looks for a takedown but Lee sprawls well. Flying Fox dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Flying Fox's head and hops out. Flying Fox gets cracked there but stands up to it.

That is not cool. Lee regains half guard, as Flying Fox was trying to land strikes. Lee is looking to control Flying Fox's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Lee avoid being mounted? Lee works his way to full guard. Good work. Lee is adopting a defensive guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flying Fox stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Flying Fox slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Flying Fox is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Lee is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Flying Fox tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Flying Fox wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lee, who protects the arm well. Obed Flying Fox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lee is not content to let Flying Fox control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Flying Fox goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lee rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Flying Fox's guard! Lee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Flying Fox has time to react. Flying Fox shoots in looking for a takedown. Lee tries to sprawl out of it but Flying Fox keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lee manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lee has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Lee scores with a punch to the head. Lee slaps away a takedown attempt from Flying Fox, before circling back to the center of the mat. Flying Fox shoots for a double leg takedown but Lee sprawls well. He's pushed Flying Fox's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Obed Flying Fox. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Flying Fox on the wrong end of a nice hook. Lee thows a left - swing and a miss! Lee pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Flying Fox doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Nice sprawl there from Lee as Flying Fox shoots in. Lee might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Lee scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Flying Fox has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Lee finds it's way round the side to connect with Flying Fox's head. Lee throws a series of strikes that have Flying Fox backpedaling.
Lee paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Flying Fox shoots in for a takedown but Lee shows good takedown defense. Lee throws a one two combo.
Lee works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Lee with a body punch. A glancing blow. Lee lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Lee stuffs the takedown. Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Flying Fox.
Lee loads up on a big right hand but Flying Fox slips the punch. Lee swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Flying Fox. A big right from Lee misses. Lee digs a good body shot into Flying Fox's ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Flying Fox dives in and grabs Lee's left leg, looking for a takedown. Lee pushes down on Flying Fox's head and hops out. Flying Fox fails with a takedown attempt. Lee has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Lee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Flying Fox takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Asher Lee seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lee digs a good body shot into Flying Fox's ribs. Lee works Flying Fox's body with a nice hook. Lee connects with a right hand. Flying Fox shakes it off. Flying Fox moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Flying Fox fails with the takedown. Nice shot lands for Lee. A jab from Lee does it's job there. Flying Fox closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Lee's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Flying Fox looking to sit in guard and control but Lee gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee stands and steps away. Flying Fox gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lee uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Flying Fox has time to react. Lee looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Lee lands a head shot. Asher Lee is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lee scores with a punch to the head. Obed Flying Fox has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lee misses with a straight left. The fighters circle momentarily. Lee darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Lee slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Lee shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Flying Fox eats them both and turns towards Lee to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Lee cracks Flying Fox with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Lee misses with a low kick as Flying Fox jumps back. Lee stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Lee lands with a cross.
And that's the end of the fight! Asher Lee comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Lee winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
