Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nick Kang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Dillinger! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Steve Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kang misses with a kick to the body.
Dillinger blocks a head kick by Kang.
Dillinger appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body. Kang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kang throws a head kick that Dillinger semi-blocks.
Nick Kang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kang throws a head kick that misses and Dillinger counters with a two punch combo. A head kick by Kang misses and Dillinger connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A head kick misses from Kang. Kang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dillinger moves into range and clinches up with Kang. Dillinger jumps guard and drags Kang to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kang tries to stand but Dillinger is controlling from the bottom. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kang works his way back into a safe position though. Kang wants to stand but Dillinger is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillinger is trying to keep Kang in close.

Dillinger lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Dillinger wants to control from the top but Kang keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillinger looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Dillinger bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Kang's guard. Dillinger slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Kang has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Dillinger off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Dillinger moves into the clinch. Kang is trying to break the clinch but Dillinger has him pressed against the cage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kang gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dillinger.

Brad Dillinger dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Dillinger tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Kang manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dillinger misses with a takedown attempt - Kang sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Kang throws a nice head kick!

Dillinger wants to counter the offense by Kang and move into the clinch position. Kang defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Dillinger. Kang tries to break free but Dillinger pushes him back against the cage. Dillinger decides to pull guard. Kang wants to stand but Dillinger has a closed guard, so he can't escape. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kang won't allow Dillinger to get back to his feet. Kang decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dillinger clinches with his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Kang looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Dillinger keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kang's efforts to push away. Kang tries to break free but Dillinger pushes him back against the cage. Dillinger is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kang pulls him back up using the underhooks. Nick Kang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brad Dillinger. A shot in the inside from Dillinger. Kang tries to break the clinch but Dillinger is controlling the position. Kang is looking to break free of the clinch but Dillinger has double underhooks. Dillinger keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kang's efforts to push away. Dillinger drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kang pulls his leg out and moves away.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Dillinger tries to clinch but Kang is having none of it. Kang throws a head kick that misses. Nick Kang is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Kang throws a head kick but Dillinger moves out of range.
Dillinger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Kang swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Kang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dillinger has managed to clinch.

Kang connects with a high kick. Dillinger closes the distance and clinches. Kang wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Dillinger has him pressed against the cage. Dillinger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Kang down to the mat. Kang avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Dillinger clinches. Dillinger unloads a knee to the mid-section. Dillinger pressing his opponent against the cage. Kang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Kang pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Dillinger fails to land the takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dillinger fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

That was a close second round but I would say that Nick Kang will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Brad Dillinger's cut. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Kang tries to avoid it but Dillinger manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kang to the ground. Kang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kang looked to counter with a high kick but didn't commit. Kang pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That will dishearten Dillinger somewhat. Kang tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Dillinger blocks a head kick by Kang.
