Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Colt Kingman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedro Oscar Leopoldo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colt Kingman! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pedro Oscar Leopoldo! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kingman fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Leopoldo throws a hook but Kingman avoids it easily. Kingman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. A looping hook to the body misses from Kingman. Leopoldo does a little dance to reset his feet. Leopoldo blocks a head kick by Kingman.
Kingman tries to score with a low kick but Leopoldo moves his leg out of the way. Leopoldo feints the counter takedown. Nice defenses there by Kingman. Leopoldo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
And Leopoldo tries to counter it with a takedown but Kingman pushes his down on his head and steps out. Kingman fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Leopoldo is out of range. Leopoldo misses with an uppercut. Kingman throws a quick counter kick to the body but Leopoldo avoids it. Kingman throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Kingman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leopoldo. Kingman throws a nice outside leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Leopoldo misses with the combination.

and Kingman counters with a good low kick that Leopoldo was not able to check. Kingman throws a jab but it's blocked by Leopoldo.
That's one minute gone in the round. Leopoldo throws a nice looking combination but Kingman bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Leopoldo checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Leopoldo is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Kingman lands a jab to the nose. Kingman misses with a straight left. A slapping leg kick lands for Kingman.
Leopoldo throws a combination that misses and Kingman counters with a solid body kick. A slapping leg kick lands for Kingman.
Kingman connects with a leg kick. Leopoldo looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Kingman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Leopoldo. Kingman throws a leg kick but Leopoldo sees it coming and checks it nicely. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kingman. Kingman throws a leg kick which misses Leopoldo's front leg but catches the back leg as Leopoldo tries to avoid it. Kingman avoids the body shot from Leopoldo.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Leopoldo takes one to the chin there. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Leopoldo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Leopoldo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Leopoldo avoids a kick to the body.
Kingman thows a body kick. Leopoldo tries to catch it but that hurt him. Kingman throws a push kick but Leopoldo slaps the foot to one side. Kingman scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Pedro Oscar Leopoldo has been cut. Leopoldo needs to keep his hands up - Kingman had a free shot at his head there. Leopoldo throws a combination. Kingman tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Kingman lands with a thumping leg kick.
Leopoldo swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Kingman fires out a quick counter leg kick but Leopoldo just manages to avoid it. Leopoldo's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Kingman scores with the left hand. Leopoldo knows he should have avoided that one. Kingman lands a big right hand that sends Leopoldo crashing to the mat! Kingman stays standing though and waves Leopoldo back to his feet! Leopoldo has his takedown stuffed and Kingman counters with a nice low kick that buckles Leopoldo's knee momentarily. Leopoldo looks winded!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Leopoldo takes a body punch but keeps moving. Kingman looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Look low, kick high! Kingman uses the oldest trick in the book to send Leopoldo tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Kingman is absolutely delighted - when Leopoldo wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
