Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Antonio Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Hanlon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Antonio Rutten! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Mark Hanlon! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Paul Aken and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rutten is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hanlon. Hanlon shoots in looking for a takedown. Rutten tries to sprawl out of it but Hanlon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Rutten manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rutten tries to clinch up. Hanlon feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Ruttens jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Rutten fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hanlon on the side of the head.
It looks like Mark Hanlon has been cut. Rutten tries to clinch but Hanlon is having none of it. Hanlon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rutten throws out the jab. Rutten tries to clinch but Hanlon is having none of it. Hanlon throws a fast counter high kick but Rutten manages to duck under it in time. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rutten tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hanlon swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hanlon is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Rutten throws a left and a right that both miss
and Hanlon counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Hanlon throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Rutten on the side of the head. Hanlon steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Rutten.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hanlon shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. A jab from Rutten misses. Rutten lunges at Hanlon with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hanlon's hand. Hanlon feints a jab promting Rutten to slip. Hanlon then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Rutten slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Rutten tries a head kick but it misses.
Rutten is looking to clinch. Rutten throws a head kick that misses. Rutten is looking to clinch but Hanlon is avoiding it.
Rutten looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Rutten wants to clinch and Hanlon counters with a head kick. That will keep Rutten thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Hanlon swinging wildly here.
Antonio Rutten seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fight moves into the clinch position. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Rutten tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Rutten comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Rutten holding his opponent close, against the cage.
Rutten has Hanlon pushed against the cage. Rutten blocks the elbow strike.
Rutten has a couple of punches blocked by Hanlon.
Hanlon breaks from the clinch.
Rutten tries to clinch up but Hanlon circles away and keeps his distance. Hanlon throws a counter combo.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rutten clinches. Rutten misses with an elbow strike.
Hanlon is trying to break free. Rutten misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Hanlon.
Rutten pushes off an throws an elbow but Hanlon leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Rutten lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
That has opened up Mark Hanlon's cut even more. Hanlon blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Rutten has Hanlon pressed against the cage, preventing Hanlon from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Rutten avoiding damage.
Rutten stalls. Rutten blocks an elbow strike from Hanlon.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rutten unloads a knee to the mid-section. Hanlon lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Hanlon on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Rutten lands a damaging elbow.
The cut above Mark Hanlon's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Rutten trying to land knees to the body.

Mark Hanlon's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Mark Hanlon's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
