The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Creed tries to clinch there but Templar circles away.
Templar throws out a loose jab but Creed uses good head movement to avoid it.
Templar moves out of range of the body kick from Creed.
Templar feinted with a counter takedown.
Templar has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

It looks like Wesley Templar has been cut.
Templar takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Templar takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Creed - that will leave a mark!
Creed throws a low kick, looking for Templar's leg but Templar calmly moves out of range.
Creed scores with a body shot.
Lewis Creed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Creed takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Creed works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
A slapping leg kick lands for Creed.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Creed throws a hook but Templar blocks it.
Creed throws a sloppy head kick
and Templar counters with a nice uppercut.

Creed pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Templar changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Templar moves into range and connects with a jab.

Creed lands a big head kick that sends Templar tumbling to the mat! Creed takes a step backwards and waves Templar back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Templar is rocked!
Creed misses with a looping left.
Oh Templar is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Creed throws a sloppy head kick

and Templar counters with a single leg into guard. Creed didn't expect that.
Templar seems to have got his legs back now.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Templar won't allow Creed to sweep him here.
Creed wants to stand and escape but Templar is having none of it.
Templar distracts Creed with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Templar works a leg free and moves into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Templar is pressing down on Creed's thigh, looking to free his foot. Creed is holding on for now.
Creed wants to get back to his feet.
Creed is staying active underneath Templar, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Templar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Creed is trying to control but can't.
Templar is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Creed is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Templar raining down hammerfists from mount.
Templar is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Creed can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Templar looking to finish Creed with some ground and pound. This is bad for Creed!
The referee warns Creed that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Templar has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Creed's face.
Templar fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Creed is squirming around, avoiding Templar's attempts to control the action.
Creed working to try and regain half guard.
Templar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Templar lands a big elbow - Creed is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Creed is forced to tap out!
