Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jackson Teller!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teller displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Alves.
Alves shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Teller defends it nicely.
Teller jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Alves drives through with a takedown into Teller's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Alves is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Teller is looking to stand up but Alves isn't so interested in that idea.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alves drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Alves jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Alves has his foot on Teller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Teller works his way back into a safe position though.

Teller wanted to stand there but Alves had control of the position.

Alves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Teller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Teller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Alves is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Teller defends well.
Teller is looking to stand up but Alves won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Teller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Alves escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Teller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Teller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alves has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Teller has managed to get both his arms back between Alves's legs - danger averted.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Teller wants to get up but he can't break Alves's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Teller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Decent striking displayed by Teller there.
Alves wants to clinch.
Alves throws a right hand that Teller ducks under and follows up with a left that Teller also avoids with ease.
Alves takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Alves misses with a takedown attempt - Teller sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Teller scores with a one two! Alves had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Teller keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Despite the aggression on Teller's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brenden Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Alves with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Teller to score with a decent uppercut.
Teller throws a right hand that Alves ducks under and follows up with a left that Alves also avoids with ease.
Teller throws a nice looking combination but Alves bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Jackson Teller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Teller tries to bum rush Alves with a series of wild strikes but Alves uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Alves has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Teller should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Alves has tightened it up now! Teller should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
