Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Sam Hall (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Teach (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hall might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Sam Hall. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Sam Hall! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Edward Teach! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Teach shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Hall defends it nicely. Hall scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Hall displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Teach. Teach shoots in looking for a takedown but Hall manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Teach's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sam Hall has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edward Teach. Hall with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Hall has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Hall scores with a kick to the midsection. Teach fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Teach takes a jab right on the kisser.
Teach fails to land the takedown. Edward Teach seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Teach misses with a takedown and Hall finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Hall throws out a powerful jab. Teach goes for a double leg but Hall avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hall continues to drive forward. Hall throws a nice outside leg kick. Hall scores with a jab.
Teach is rocked! Hall digs a good body shot into Teach's ribs. Teach is still on wobbly legs! Can Hall finish him? Hall fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Teach to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Teach looks to clinch but Hall throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Teach taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Sam Hall! A very excited looking Sam Hall made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet.
