Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Medium Hardon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Toara Kanagai (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Medium Hardon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Medium Hardon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Toara Kanagai! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hardon misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kanagai keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Kanagai moves into range and connects with a jab. Hardon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kanagai looks to land a left hand but Hardon moved out of range nicely. Kanagai paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hardon is looking to slow Kanagai down with leg kicks. Kanagai moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Kanagai tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hardon was well out of range. Poor timing from Kanagai. Hardon half committed to a counter leg kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kanagai misses with a hook. Hardon ducked under it nicely. Hardon closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Kanagai's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Hardon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardon avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hardon cracks Kanagai with a solid left hand. Hardon looking to pass the guard. Kanagai working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Hardon. Hardon chips away with some ground and pound. Hardon landing some decent shots from guard.
It looks like Toara Kanagai has been cut. Kanagai keeping moving, preventing Hardon from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hardon throws a big right hand that misses. Hardon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kanagai is trying to control the position but Hardon postures up. Hardon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Hardon with a nice head shot there. The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Kanagai misses with a right hand and Hardon counters with a lovely straight right hand!
That has opened up Toara Kanagai's cut even more.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kanagai bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Hardon's head. Kanagai misses with a looping left. A low kick from Kanagai is predictable there and Hardon counters with an outside leg kick.
Kanagai swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Hardon. Kanagai fails in his attempt to clinch. A little feinted left hand from Hardon on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Kanagai misses with a looping right. Kanagai misses with a hook. Hardon tries to counter by clinching up but Kanagai breaks away and moves out of range. Hardon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Kanagai was covering up waiting for the punch and Hardon finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hardon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Hardon postures up in Kanagai's guard and throws a big left but Kanagai blocks it. Hardon trying to control the position from guard on top but Kanagai is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Hardon missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Our spies down at at Albion MMA inform us that Kanagai has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Hardon throws a big right hand that misses. Kanagai utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Kanagai is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Hardon lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
The cut above Toara Kanagai's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Hardon postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Medium Hardon dominated that round. The cut man is working on Toara Kanagai's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Hardon missing with a left hand there. Kanagai was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Kanagai throws a hook to the side of Hardon's head but Hardon sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hardon lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Kanagai tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kanagai attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Hardon on the wrong end of a nice jab. Hardon shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hardon showed some decent athleticism there. Hardon is thwarting Kanagai's attempts to control the position. Medium Hardon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hardon throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hardon is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kanagai has managed to free his arm - good work. Hardon is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Kanagai has hold of Hardon's hands but Hardon slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Kanagai tries to roll over but Hardon keeps him under control. Kanagai is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Hardon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Hardon wants to control but Kanagai is keeping him busy. Hardon is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Kanagai can do to turn this around? Kanagai is looking for a sweep. Hardon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Kanagai gets full guard. Hardon looking to pass the guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hardon accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kanagai preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Hardon throwing strikes but missing. Hardon cracks Kanagai with a solid left hand.
Toara Kanagai's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Toara Kanagai's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Medium Hardon!
