Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Rick Vaughn!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, William Peck and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vaughn closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kain circles away.
Patrick Kain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vaughn closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Vaughn decides to return to a standing position.
Kain darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Kain tries to pass the half guard into mount. Vaughn knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Kain content to control rather than advance.

Kain postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Vaughn to stand up.
Vaughn tries to clinch up.
Vaughn with a poor takedown
and Kain counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Vaughn is defending against the submission attempts here by Kain.
Kain could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Vaughn is controlling Kain's trapped leg to prevent Kain from advancing to side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Vaughn is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Kain pulls his head out easily.
Vaughn looks gassed!
Kain looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Vaughn wants to get back to full guard.
Vaughn wants to sweep but Kain has passed to side control!

Kain controls the position from side control.
Vaughn takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Vaughn wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Kain seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Vaughn is tapping! Wow, great finish!
