Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Max Biggavel! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Jim! The judges for this bout are Bruno Lombardi, Joseph Jones and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jim takes a swing at Biggavel's ribcage but misses. Jim throws the kick towards the body but Biggavel avoids it. A slow jab from Jim misses its intended target. Biggavel is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jim sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Jim leaves Biggavel with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Jim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Biggavel paws at him with a jab and circles away. Jim misses with a low kick. Jim lands with a thumping leg kick.
Biggavel shoots in and drives through. Jim sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Max Biggavel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jim moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Biggavel. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. A combination from Jim does no damage. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jim.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Biggavel lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Jim down.

He must have been on the weights. Jim is looking to regain half guard here but Biggavel keeps moving and retains side control. Jim wants to get back to his feet. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Biggavel is chipping away with strikes.

Jim moves into range and clinches up with Biggavel. Jim is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Biggavel tries to score a body lock takedown but Jim shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Jim is trying to stall.

Biggavel might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Jim is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Biggavel is controlling him. Biggavel landing with the ground and pound. Biggavel landing some decent shots from guard. Biggavel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Biggavel content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Biggavel accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Biggavel is in close to Jim's body, working some short punches and elbows. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Biggavel looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Jim is fending him off so far but Biggavel persists. Nope, Jim circles away and we're back to standing. Biggavel darts in looking for a takedown but Jim gets double underhooks and turns Biggavel into the cage. Biggavel blocks a head kick by Jim.
Biggavel tries to counter with a takedown but Jim is quick to defend against it. Biggavel rushes Jim and presses him up against the cage. Biggavel will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jim up against the cage. Biggavel turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Biggavel manages to end up in side control. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Biggavel misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Biggavel landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
And that's the end of the fight! Max Biggavel showed his dominance in that final round. I think Biggavel has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
