Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jalmari Pullo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Unit Eleven!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pullo throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Eleven stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Pullo is trying hard to land a takedown here. Eleven sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Eleven misses with a wild body shot.

Pullo fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Eleven to the ground. Pullo is now in Eleven's guard.
Pullo wants to control from the top but Eleven keeps moving.
Pullo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Eleven is keeping the position for now.
Eleven is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pullo is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pullo drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Pullo jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Eleven wants to stand but Pullo is controlling the position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eleven can do anything to dispel that myth.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Eleven is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Pullo trying to control but Eleven is working from the bottom.
Eleven preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Eleven working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Pullo.
Pullo cracks Eleven with a solid left hand.
Eleven wants to get back to his feet but Pullo is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Pullo slips nicely into half guard.
Pullo has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Pullo frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Pullo lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Pullo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Eleven turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pullo off and cradles Eleven's limp body as Pullo celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Jalmari Pullo!
