0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Myke Tyson! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Tyson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Johnston gets in close and instigates a clinch. Johnston breaks the clinch.
Tyson shoots for a takedown but Johnston saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Vicente Johnston has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Myke Tyson. Tyson throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Johnston connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Tyson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Tyson fails in his attempt to clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnston circles away from the clinch attempt.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Tyson is defended easily by Johnston. Johnston throws a head kick that looked like it stung.

Tyson doesn't succeed with the takedown and Johnston moves into the clinch. Tyson manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Myke Tyson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Johnston misses with a takedown attempt - Tyson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Tyson moves into range and clinches up with Johnston. Tyson gets control of Johnston's arms and successfully pulls guard. Tyson will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Tyson is trying to keep Johnston in close.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tyson looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Johnston postures up.

Tyson tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Johnston defends well and Tyson ends up having to push Johnston into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Johnston's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Johnston slaps away a takedown attempt from Tyson, before circling back to the center of the mat. Johnston keeps the fight on the outside. Johnston just misses with a punch to the body.

Tyson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Johnston paws at him with a jab and circles away. Tyson shoots in for a double leg but Johnston sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Johnston throws a shot from downtown. Tyson moves away and avoids it. Tyson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Johnston sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tyson somewhat. Tyson with a poor takedown and Johnston counters with a lovely straight right hand! Johnston scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnston missing with the ground and pound from half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tyson moves to clinch but Johnston breaks away and Johnston counters with a flying knee. Nice. Johnston throws a hook but Tyson blocks it. Johnston is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tyson can do to turn this around? Tyson moves out of range of the strikes. Tyson is looking to clinch. Tyson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Johnston is fending him off so far but Tyson persists. Nope, Johnston circles away and we're back to standing. Johnston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Tyson avoids it really well and circles away. Johnston leaves Tyson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tyson fails with an attempt to clinch.

Johnston manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Tyson trying to control the position from guard on top but Johnston is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Vicente Johnston overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Johnston chips away with some ground and pound. Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Johnston. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Johnston decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Tyson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Johnston circles away. Johnston changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Tyson tries to avoid it but Johnston manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Tyson to the ground. Tyson escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Tyson misses with a takedown and Johnston counters with a single leg into guard. Tyson didn't expect that.

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Johnston here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Johnston won't allow Tyson to get back to his feet. Johnston postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Johnston decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Tyson tries to clinch up. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Johnston closes this distance looking for a takedown but Tyson circles away. Tyson tries to clinch up. Johnston escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Johnston swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Johnston throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Tyson's waist but Tyson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Johnston off to one side. Johnston dives in and grabs Tyson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Tyson pushes down on Johnston's head and hops out. Tyson clinches up against the cage. Johnston breaks the clinch.

And that's the end of the fight! Vicente Johnston showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnston, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
