Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jack Dawkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Allen Sparks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dawkins comes into the arena with This is How I Bang blaring out of the sound system. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
23 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Jack Dawkins! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Allen Sparks! The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shirou Masuda.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dawkins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Sparks's head. Sparks lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Dawkins is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Jack Dawkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dawkins shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Dawkins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Sparks doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Dawkins. Dawkins wants to control but Sparks is keeping him busy. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dawkins fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sparks avoids it really well and circles away. Dawkins shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Dawkins tries for a takedown. No joy.

Dawkins lands with an uppercut that bounces Sparks off the cage and back into range. Dawkins throws a body punch but Sparks moves out of range. Dawkins closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Dawkins thuds a left hand into Sparks's body. Dawkins misses with an uppercut. Sparks saw that one coming. Sparks fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dawkins jabs at Sparks's body. Dawkins waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Sparks. Sparks uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Dawkins.
Sparks tries to counter with a clinch but Dawkins shakes him off and moves away. Sparks is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
Jack Dawkins dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Sparks tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dawkins swats him away and circles back towards the center. Nice takedown defense from Sparks. No joy for Dawkins on that attempt. Dawkins backing away here, and Sparks unleashes a leg kick that just misses. Dawkins is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Sparks can do to turn this around? Dawkins avoids a kick to the body.
Dawkins shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dawkins was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

 That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dawkins trying to mount his opponent but Sparks defends it.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sparks takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Sparks throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Dawkins's head. Dawkins slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Sparks tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Dawkins paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dawkins misses the body punch and Sparks counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Dawkins throws a body punch but Sparks moves out of range.
Dawkins fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sparks sprawls well initially but Dawkins persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dawkins trying to pass the guard but Sparks defending well. Sparks wants to get back to full guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Sparks is trying to maintain the position but Dawkins is very close to passing his half guard.
Dawkins is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Dawkins looking to ground and pound but Sparks is blocking nicely. Dawkins looking to control but Sparks is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Jack Dawkins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dawkins throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Dawkins can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Sparks is looking to escape. Dawkins wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Dawkins seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Dawkins fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Sparks bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Dawkins's head. Sparks takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Dawkins throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dawkins shoots in and bounces Sparks off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dawkins postures up in Sparks's guard and throws a big left but Sparks blocks it.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Dawkins stays in close to Sparks's body and controls the position. Dawkins seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Sparks for as long as he can get away with. Sparks working a defensive guard here.

 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
 The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Dawkins dives in for a single leg takedown but Sparks sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Dawkins misses with a jab, cross combination.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dawkins is on top in guard.

Dawkins preventing the sweep. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.  That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Sparks throws a big elbow that misses. Dawkins looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Sparks is looking to work some ground and pound but Dawkins has wrist control. Dawkins is trying to control the position but Sparks postures up.
Sparks stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Dawkins has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Sparks manages to get his head free but now Dawkins has transitioned to an armbar! Sparks grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Dawkins! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
