Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Reyes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remic Grochovina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Robin Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Remic Grochovina! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Reyes fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Grochovina sprawls well initially but Reyes persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Grochovina gets back to full guard.

Grochovina lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Reyes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grochovina is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Grochovina trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grochovina seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Grochovina's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Reyes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Grochovina throws a big elbow that misses. Reyes throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Reyes working a defensive guard here.
Grochovina passes Reyes's left leg - he's now in half guard. Grochovina with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Reyes wants to get back to full guard. Reyes is looking to control Grochovina's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Reyes avoid being mounted?
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Reyes scores with a takedown into Grochovina's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Grochovina is on top in guard.
Grochovina looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Grochovina trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Grochovina controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Reyes is striking but Grochovina is not phased and passes to half guard. Reyes missing with punches from the bottom.
Grochovina is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Reyes has managed to free his arm - good work. Grochovina missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Remic Grochovina dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
A combination from Reyes does no damage. Reyes gets a takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Grochovina slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Grochovina working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Reyes doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Grochovina is tightening it up a little... Reyes has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Reyes reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Reyes taps out! Nice BJJ there by Grochovina!
