Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Nales (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josef Urrah (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Urrah has chosen Johnny Cash - Oney as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rusty Nales! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josef Urrah! The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nales decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Nales keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Nales misses with a head shot. Urrah uses the momentum to regain guard. Nales stopping the sweep attempt from Urrah. Nales postures up in Urrah's guard and throws a big left but Urrah blocks it. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Urrah is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Urrah is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nales wants to control from the top but Urrah keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nales not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Urrah wants to sweep but no luck.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Urrah turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Nales shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Urrah but Urrah pushes him off and we're back to square one. Nales throws a series of punches but Urrah avoids them all with ease. The fight stays on the outside here - Nales looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Urrah is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Urrah uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Nales takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Nales has closed the distance and engaged Urrah in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nales tries for a takedown but Urrah manages to get underhooks.
Urrah has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Nales is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Urrah tries for a takedown. No joy.

Rusty Nales has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Josef Urrah. Urrah comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Urrah tightens his grip and picks Nales up, before dumping him to the ground. Nales manages to land in guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Urrah prevents Nales from getting back to his feet. Nales looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Nales wants to get back to his feet but Urrah is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Urrah trying to control but Nales is working from the bottom. Nales looking for a sweep. Not yet Nales, not yet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Urrah accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Urrah slips nicely into half guard. Urrah is pressing down on Nales's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nales is holding on for now. Nales flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Urrah thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Urrah winds up and cracks Nales with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Urrah is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nales is just riding it out for now. Urrah eventually gives up the hold. Urrah controlling the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Nales is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Urrah is looking to advance position but Nales won't allow it.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Urrah slaps away a takedown attempt from Nales, before circling back to the center of the mat. Nales shoots for a takedown but Urrah saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Urrah showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nales.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Nales closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nales wants to lay and pray for a moment but Urrah keeps working. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Josef Urrah will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Nales misses with a double jab.
Rusty Nales is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Nales shoots for a double leg takedown but Urrah sprawls well. He's pushed Nales's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Nales walks into a jab. Urrah throws a head kick but Nales moves out of range.
Nales seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Urrah fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Nales looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Urrah has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Nales fails with the takedown. Nales tries to close the distance and clinch but Urrah swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Urrah feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Nales is trying to keep Urrah in close.
Nales wants to hit a switch here but Urrah passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Nales there! Nales is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
That's one minute gone in the round. Urrah working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Nales turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Urrah off and cradles Nales's limp body as Urrah celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Josef Urrah! As Josef Urrah got his breath back, he grabbed the microphone and managed to blurt out the following: Avgå Hamrén!'.
