Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenalemodisa Mabogo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rami Kottari (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mabogo comes into the arena with 3 Doors Down - Duck and Run blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kenalemodisa Mabogo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rami Kottari! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mabogo throws a head kick that misses and Kottari counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Mabogo tries to kick Kottari off but Kottari keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Kottari lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kottari working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Kottari throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mabogo won't allow Kottari to pass to mount. Kottari has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Mabogo is trying to stand.
Kottari seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Mabogo on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mabogo tries to kick Kottari off but Kottari keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Kottari stalling. Kottari looks to score some points with some ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kottari lands with a punch from half guard. Kottari working over Mabogo with some ground and pound. Mabogo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Mabogo is rocked! Kottari seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Oh Mabogo is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Kottari is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Mabogo is hurt! He's hurt bad - Kottari fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Mabogo from any more punishment! Congratulations to Kottari! Great finish!
