PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alucard Darkim (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kent Hytten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Darkim comes to the cage accompanied by I'm new in da city. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hytten jabs Darkim to the body, keeping him at a distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Darkim is defended easily by Hytten.
Darkim misses with a kick to the body.
It seemed like Hytten was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hytten. Darkim does a little dance to reset his feet.

Darkim throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hytten tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Darkim is in Hytten's guard.

Darkim has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Darkim jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hytten manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Darkim is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hytten is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Darkim goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Hytten has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Darkim but great work by Hytten.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Alucard Darkim.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Darkim, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
